Maine Impression Photography began with my dad's camera and a love for capturing moments. Growing up in Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah, I was always behind a lens—whatever I could get my hands on.
Then I met my MaineMan. We married, moved east, and I fell hard for Maine's bold, beautiful coast. As photography shifted from film to digital, my passion grew. Six kids and countless photos later, we landed in Machiasport, then Ellsworth.
When I accidentally dropped my point-and-shoot off a cliff in Lubec, I was heartbroken. The camera shattered, the memory card lost. So I did what any self-respecting Yankee would do—I bought a DSLR and got serious.
Now, hundreds of thousands of shots later, I'm doing what friends have been telling me to do for years: sharing my work with the world.
I focus on Maine—the Downeast Coast especially, but also wildlife, water, and peaceful villages. I spend my time traveling to and waiting for the most breathtaking scenes this state offers.
I hope you can feel and smell the salty life I live through every image I share.
I aim to make a lasting maineimpression
